The technology exists to unlock new value streams that were out of reach. Ark +Energy will use metering expertise that pioneered Advance Metering Infrastructure (AMI) and grid intelligence technology to overcome these challenges and deliver value in demand side management programs, distribution automation, behind the meter community benefits, storage, smart city, renewables and the efficient and resourceful use of water.

The founder of Ark +Energy, Dave Stensland, has 26+ years of senior Itron1 experience and expertise in bringing innovation to the energy and water industry. Dave provided “hands on” innovation and thought leadership advancing meter reading capabilities leading the marketplace today. His skill set and experience includes leadership, finance, deal acquisition, and technology comprehension that created and evolved basic manual meter reading to state-of-the-art AMI value propositions widely used in North America and globally today. Dave sees the future for energy and water and assembles teams to solve these issues of managing the demand and supply both of them.

Ark+Energy’s focus is on finding and matching utilities, local governments, technology, and service companies with his problem-solving skills and delivering innovative solutions that provide value and improved utilization of existing resources. All this experience and skills contributes to affordable, clean, and resilient energy and water for all stakeholders.
